The Newlands Arm Residents & Ratepayers Association Inc (NARRA) was established in 1985 and amongst its charter aims to:
Represent the residents and ratepayers of Newlands Arm to provide a forum to discuss and develop ideas on matters of mutual social, environmental, civic and economic interest and press for the provision or improvement in the local amenities and facilities for the benefit of the community.
